On March 10, Belift Lab announced Heeseung‘s departure from Enhypen. The company’s statement said that after careful consideration of future directions, Heeseung would move forward as a soloist and Enhypen would continue as six members. Heeseung confirmed his solo plans in a handwritten letter later posted to Weverse.
- Though the move has sparked intense fan backlash and calls to return Heeseung to the group, Belift has maintained its stance that the group’s schedule will not be able to accommodate the solo work Heeseung has expressed his desire to pursue.
