Welcome to another edition of SB Week in Review. Here’s all the news you might have missed over the past week:

  • SM Entertainment announced that Ten concluded his exclusive contract with the company, but plans to participate in NCT and WayV activities when possible.
  • Cha Eunwoo posted a personal statement about his tax evasion controversy, revealing that he has paid the related taxes. Fantagio also issued an apology.
  • Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin have reportedly filed to terminate their exclusive contracts with One Hundred’s INB100, citing the failure of the company to address unpaid settlements and other violations. Lee Seung-gi and Viviz, both signed to One Hundred subsidiary Big Planet Made, also terminated their contracts.

  • TXT previewed synth-heavy, danceable tracks for 7th Year: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns, out on April 13.
  • Modyssey will debut with Got Hooked: An Addictive Symphony on April 13.
  • Plave released a highlight medley for Caligo Pt. 2, also out April 13.
  • Ifeye will return with “Hazy” and their third EP As If on April 15.
  • Mamamoo’s Wheein teased a new single album, Adagio, out on April 16.
  • Xdinary Heroes previewed live instrumentals for Dead And, out on April 17.
  • B1A4 promoted their return Set with gambling-themed concept photos. The mini-album is slated for an April 21 release.
  • Close Your Eyes will also drop digital single “Overexposed” that day.
  • Forestella’s 4th full album The Legacy is scheduled for an April 23 release.
  • TWS teased their April 27 release of No Tragedy with a cute “love guide” of dating advice.
  • QWER released graduation-themed promotions for their April 27 comeback Ceremony.
  • Park Jihoon adopted a punk aesthetic in teasers for Re:flect, out on April 29.
  • Cravity announced their April 29 comeback Redefine with an animated teaser.
  • Illit will return on April 30 with Mamihlapinatapai, whose title refers to a Yaghan word to describe unspoken mutual longing.
  • Cortis not only promoted their first comeback Greengreen with concept photos, but also with Google Maps reviews. The mini-album drops on May 4.
  • Hype Princess, formed through the survival show Unpretty Rapster: Hip Pop Princess, will debut with 17.7 on May 27.
  • Evan, formerly known as Heeseung from Enhypen, posted photos hinting at his solo debut.
  • Seventeen‘s leader S.Coups confirmed that all 13 members renewed their contracts with Pledis Entertainment.
  • Three fans sustained injuries after a fence collapsed during a Super Junior concert on April 5. SM Entertainment apologized and stated they would offer “full support” for treatment.
  • Attrakt dropped their appeal in the copyright lawsuit over Fifty Fifty’s “Cupid,” finalizing the ruling granting The Givers ownership of the hit song.
  • Alpha Drive One’s Geonwoo will go on hiatus following controversy about inappropriate remarks he made to production staff while filming content prior to debut. Both Geonwoo and Wake One apologized for the incident.
  • Former Winner member Nam Taehyun was sentenced to one year in prison for drunk driving.
  • ArtmsHaseul will miss the group’s upcoming album promotions and 2026 tour due to shoulder surgery. Modhaus announced that she will have solo activities as her conditions allow.
  • Hyuna ended her exclusive contract with At Area.
  • Ab6ix will take a hiatus from group activities amid contract renewal discussions.
  • The Rose shared that they will take a break following the release of their album Rose and their 2026 tour Rosetopia.
