Welcome to another edition of SB Week in Review. Here’s all the news you might have missed over the past week:

  • Hybe vs Min Hee-jin updates:
    • A journalist posted audio of a Hybe executive asking to correct NewJeans‘ sales with their debut Japanese album. Hybe clarified that they were correcting the amount of units sold compared to the units shipped.
    • Min Hee-jin claimed Hybe offered her money to resign from her role as CEO back in May. Hybe denied the claim. Min will continue to petition to be reinstated as CEO.
    • The NewJeans members’ deadline of September 25 to reinstate Min Hee-jin passed without Hybe taking action.

  • Kang Daniel experienced “Electric Shock” in his first comeback under ARA.
  • Key experimented with artificial happiness in “Pleasure Shop.” Check out our review!
  • NCT Wish wanted to go “Steady” in their first comeback. Don’t miss our review!
  • Xodiac seized the day with the encouraging title track “Our Days.”
  • Super Junior D&E went corporate hip-hop for “Go High.”
  • Hyo kept doing her thing for “Retro Romance.”
  • Choi Yena will return with “Nemo Nemo” on September 30.
  • Vanner will also be back on the 30th with “Automatic.”
  • Kiss of Life will drop a pre-release on October 4 ahead of their new mini album Lose Yourself, out on October 15.
  • Woosung will come back with “44 (Forget Forever)” also on the 4th.
  • The Wind will continue their vibe of sweet nostalgia with Hello, My First Love on October 7.
  • Jay Park shared the track list for The One You Wanted, and it’s loaded with features. The album drops on October 8.
  • AB6IX released the group concept photo for Born Like This, set for release on October 10.
  • Seventeen started to share track samplers for their October 14 comeback, Spill the Feels.
  • CNBlue will also return with the mini album X on October 14.
  • Xdinary Heroes teased their October 14 return with Live and Fall.
  • Itzy will show off what makes them different with Gold, out on October 15.
  • Aespa announced their mini Whiplash will be released on October 21.
  • Illit will make their first comeback with I’ll Like You on October 21.
