WONHO is preparing for his San Antonio debut as a co-headliner of the 2026 K-Pop World Festival.

The festival is scheduled for Oct. 30 at the Alamodome. The event will bring multiple K-pop acts to Texas, with WONHO set to appear as one of the featured performers.

In an interview with the San Antonio Express-News, WONHO discussed his excitement about visiting San Antonio, trying Texas barbecue and connecting with fans in a new market.

The singer, whose real name is Lee Ho-seok, began his solo career in 2020 after leaving Monsta X. His solo work has included the "Love Synonym" series and the "Bittersweet" era.

WONHO's latest EP, "CORE," combines R&B influences with more upbeat material. He also discussed the challenge of creating a cohesive project and his interest in continuing to experiment with music and fashion.

The San Antonio performance will give WONHO an opportunity to introduce his solo catalog to fans in a market where he has not previously performed as a headliner.
