KUALA LUMPUR – Organised by iMe MY, Korean all-rounder musician WOODZ (Cho Seungyoun) successfully concluded his “2026 WOODZ WORLD TOUR ‘Archive. 1’ IN KUALA LUMPUR” last night (18th). Marking a major highlight of his first tour after military discharge, the concert drew countless Malaysian MOODZ (official fandom name), filling the venue to capacity with electrifying energy. Beyond delivering an exceptional audio-visual experience, WOODZ also surprised fans with a heartfelt cover of the Malay classic “Sempurna”, creating an unforgettable night of music and connection.

Returning to Malaysia after a 3-year hiatus, WOODZ took the stage with his dedicated live band, immediately proving his all-rounder prowess. He opened the show powerfully with “Bloodline”, igniting the crowd from the very first note, followed by “Downtown” and “Dirt On My Leather”, where intense rock vibes sent waves of screams through the audience. The night reached its peak when the intro of viral hit “Drowning” began, triggering an explosive response from fans.

The concert maintained high energy throughout, turning the venue into a massive sing-along arena. During performances of fan-favourite tracks such as “I’ll Never Love Again”, “Drowning”, “CINEMA”, and “To My January”, MOODZ showcased incredible unity, filling the hall with powerful vocals and heartfelt emotion.

Impressed by the passion and vocal strength of Malaysian fans, WOODZ excitedly shouted, “Thanks for singing with me!” and even interacted in Malay, asking, “Korang enjoy tak?” He couldn’t stop praising the crowd, saying, “Your singing is too good!”

In addition to his high-quality performances, WOODZ prepared a special surprise exclusively for Kuala Lumpur fans. With impressive pronunciation and sincerity, he performed a touching cover of the beloved Malay song “Sempurna”. The moment the familiar melody began, the venue erupted in cheers, creating one of the most heartwarming sing-along moments of the night. He ended the performance with a sweet message, “Terima Kasih, Sayang Kamu,” instantly melting fans’ hearts.

During an emotional talking segment, WOODZ expressed his gratitude to fans who stayed by his side throughout his 3-year military hiatus:
“Three years is not a short time. Thank you for not leaving me. I really missed you all.”

He then delighted the crowd by showing off all the Malay phrases he had learned, playfully shouting:
“Sayang kamu! Sayang! Gempak! Syiok! Hari ini memang best! Mantap! Korang sangat cantik!”
His charming and genuine delivery kept fans cheering and laughing throughout.

One of the most talked-about highlights of the night was WOODZ’s incredible fan service. Responding to fans’ song requests, he generously extended the show with multiple a cappella choruses, including “CINEMA” (3 times), “Sempurna” (once), “To My January” (once), and “Human Extinction” (once). He even challenged himself by singing the high-difficulty chorus of “Drowning” three times live. Amazed by the fans’ flawless harmonisation, he praised them again, saying, “You sing better than me—mantap!”

Over the course of more than two hours, WOODZ demonstrated remarkable stamina and exceptional stage presence. The concert concluded beautifully with the healing track “Stray”, perfectly sealing a memorable musical archive dedicated to Kuala Lumpur.

We would like to thank iMe MY for the invitation. – K-popped!
