JYP Entertainment’s rock-powered boy band Xdinary Heroes (XH) is gearing up for their long-awaited comeback — and they’ve sparked intrigue with a chillingly creative mood film for their upcoming mini-album LXVE to DEATH, set to drop on October 24 at 1 PM (KST).

Released on the group’s official SNS channels at noon on October 5, the mood film captivates viewers with its surreal narrative and striking symbolism. It opens with a doll’s sweet declaration of “I love you!” before a pink wisdom tooth rolls into view and stops. The scene then shifts to a doctor examining the tooth, which is bizarrely rooted toward the doll’s heart. He warns that if the tooth isn’t removed, the doll’s heart could stop beating.

Despite the six members — Gun-il, Jeong-su, Ga-on, O.de, Jun-han, and Ju-yeon — doing everything they can to revive the doll after the extraction, it remains lifeless. The tension builds as ants carry away the extracted tooth, and the film closes with a haunting image of the tooth bursting through a hole in a white wall.

Blending unsettling imagery with emotional depth, the short film perfectly embodies Xdinary Heroes’ reputation for storytelling that defies convention. Fans are already buzzing about the metaphorical “wisdom tooth” and its connection to the album’s title LXVE to DEATH — a likely hint at love’s pain, obsession, or sacrifice.

Marking their first comeback in seven months since Beautiful Mind in March, LXVE to DEATH follows an incredible year for the band. Xdinary Heroes rocked their world tour “Beautiful Mind”, their summer special concert “The Xcape”, and even took the stage at Lollapalooza Chicago, cementing their global presence as a rising K-band powerhouse.

With a concept that’s bold, eerie, and artistically rich, LXVE to DEATH promises to push Xdinary Heroes’ sound and storytelling to daring new heights — solidifying their status as a global K-pop super band to watch.
