YouTuber Lee Jin Ho’s Latest Claims That “Debunk” The Relationship Between Kim Soo Hyun And Kim Sae Ron

YouTuber Lee Jin Ho voiced out his latest doubts about the relationship between actor Kim Soo Hyun and the late Kim Sae Ron. He brought up a photo showing actor Kim Soo Hyun and the late actress Kim Sae Ron together as a couple.

In a video released May 27, 2025, he compared a photo shared by the controversial YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute with another photo taken on the same day. He claimed that contrary to what some people believe, the photo was not taken when Kim Sae Ron was a minor, but after she became an adult. This is based on the phone she was holding in the new picture — an iPhone 11, which was released in September 2019.

Previously, Garo Sero Research Institute had shared the couple photo and claimed Kim Soo Hyun was dating Kim Sae Ron while she was still underage. Some online users pointed out that the hat Kim Soo Hyun wore in the photo was released in 2016, which added to the suspicion.

Kim Soo Hyun admitted that they dated for about a year, but claimed that it only happened after the turned legal — from the summer of 2019 to fall 2020, after she became an adult. On May 19, 2025, police announced that they are currently investigating 10 legal complaints — 7 from Kim Soo Hyun’s representatives and 3 from Kim Sae Ron’s representatives.
