The YouTuber explained that they showed up at her agency, despite the criticism she would face.

I went to Jennie’s company, gave her my letter, and a bouquet of flowers! I know this might seem like a nuisance, but with a scared heart, I took the courage to go there. I hope my letter reaches Jennie.

This YouTuber was previously known as the fan who held up the sign that read, “Jennie, would you have a cup of coffee with me?”

However, the video drew massive criticism online, with many calling it sasaeng behavior.

- “Whether or not this was staged for content, I was scared because it just felt like watching a stalker vlog.”
- “This is so disrespectful. Even if this was intentional, what will happen when people start copying her? And please don’t hold up signs during idol concerts.”
- “Even if this was a planned video, if doing saesaeng behavior is part of the plan, I’m not here for it.”
- “Fans of idols know that agencies don’t just open the door like that. This is planned and staged.”
Meanwhile, the original video has since been deleted.
