Debut teasers for upcoming rookies AtHeart have triggered heated debate, with several fans alleging that the girl group’s concept is “sexualized” and inappropriate for the group’s youngest member.

The controversy began when AtHeart posted individual teaser photos of the members on social media this week. In particular, a teaser post for member Nahyun drew widespread negative attention. The images showed the idol wearing a pink mini dress alongside the caption, “I promise I’m a Good Girl (AtHeart).”

Nahyun, the group’s maknae, is currently 15 years old, while the eldest member of the Titan Content girl group, Michi, recently turned 18. In response to the photos, one fan shared a screenshot of Nahyun’s teaser on X to let others know about the rookie’s young age.

The teaser quickly gained traction, sparking criticism from fellow K-Pop fans. Many argued that the caption, which is a lyric from their release “Good Girl,” carries inappropriate sexual implications for a minor. The use of a pillow and fruit in the imagery, meanwhile, was also highlighted as a “concerning” point.
i can see you’re pretty young, but all these factors together (the good girl element, the fruit, the pillows and bedroom shots) are extremely concerning

Alongside Nahyun’s photos, fans also expressed their disapproval of other teasers from the rollout of Good Girl (AtHeart), including a subsequent schoolgirl concept captioned “just a bunch of good girls at heart … kinda” as well as teaser photos of Michi. Some even drew comparisons to “Marionette” by the former girl group Stellar, who were exploited by their agency with sexual concepts.
yeah i used to follow them but this shot threw me off 😭 like what is the concept here…? pic.twitter.com/5TEuz8mM8H

Not all fans agreed with the criticism. Some supporters of the group argued that the music video for “Good Girl,” which has already been released, showcases a cute concept and defended the caption as simply representing a song lyric.
the captions are the lyrics 😭to the song which includes their name atheart dont make it werid

Others, however, pushed back, insisting that the lyric itself was problematic regardless of context. Several fans also expressed frustration that those who call out potentially inappropriate concepts for minors often face backlash for raising concerns.
I hate that when people call out companies doing inappropriate stuff like this, fans gotta make it seem like we're weird.. God forbid I don't want minors being sexualized by their company in an industry that already sexualizes them.. https://t.co/jA5S5qPCnC
