Apple TV+ is set to ignite the K-Pop scene with its latest venture.

Apple TV+ is turning up the heat with the announcement of K-POPPED (working title), a thrilling new 8-episode singing competition that merges global music powerhouses with the vibrant world of K-pop.

Executive produced by legendary musician Lionel Richie, the show stars PSY, the artist who brought K-pop to the world with Gangnam Style, and Megan Thee Stallion, the Grammy-winning rap sensation behind Savage.

In each episode, internationally renowned artists will reinvent their hit songs in collaboration with top K-pop idols, delivering electrifying performances in a high-stakes competition. The ultimate winner will be determined by live audience voting at a grand finale concert in Seoul.

The powerhouse production team includes CJ ENM’s industry veterans Shin Hyung-kwan and Hong Joon-ki, along with executive producers Greg Foster, Moira Ross, and Eureka Productions’ Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Wes Denning, David Tibbals, and Bruce Eskowitz.

With its reputation for high-quality original content, Apple TV+ continues to push creative boundaries across drama, comedy, documentaries, and family entertainment. Since launching in 2019, the platform has rapidly gained recognition, amassing 538 awards and 2,553 nominations, including for its Emmy-winning hit Ted Lasso.

Stay tuned as Apple TV+ brings K-pop’s global influence to center stage in this must-watch competition!
