ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo To Feature In IU’s Comeback — Here’s All We Know

The collaboration of the century is coming.

K-Pop queen IU is returning to her roots this May with a long-awaited comeback as a singer, marking her first album release in over a year since The Winning dropped in February 2024.

Adding to the buzz, fellow singer-actor ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo will make a special cameo in IU’s upcoming music video. The two previously teamed up for a jewelry campaign for Chaumet in February, and fans are eager to see their on-screen chemistry play out in a fresh musical setting. With visuals this strong, the MV is already one to watch.

IU hasn’t been idle during her hiatus as a singer — she recently stole hearts in Netflix‘s When Life Gives You Tangerines, pulling double duty as Aesoon and Geummyeong. She’s also lined up to star alongside Byeon Woo Seok in MBC’s 21st Century Lady, slated for 2026.

Cha Eunwoo, meanwhile, is booked and busy, currently filming Netflix’s The Wonderfuls and gearing up for ASTRO’s fourth solo concert this June in Incheon. Watch this space for more on the collaboration of the century!
