A post on Pann with more than 26,000 views is sparking heated debate after fans noticed similarities between EXO’s recent teaser and BLACKPINK’s past promotional poster.

The discussion started when fans compared EXO’s September 8 comeback teaser to a poster released for BLACKPINK’s 8th anniversary in August last year.

Both feature an eclipse-style design with light spilling around the edges, a concept that some pointed out could be approached in many different ways. While lunar eclipse imagery is common in promotional graphics, the angle and composition of the two images struck many as strikingly alike.

The issue has since become one of the day’s hottest topics online, with fans expressing frustration over what they see as a lack of originality.

Some even criticized the changes EXO’s teaser made compared to BLACKPINK’s, describing them as minimal and unimpressive. Others admitted that while the design is technically a common style, the resemblance still feels too close to ignore.
