BLACKPINK might be making a comeback later this year!

On August 11, a music industry insider revealed that BLACKPINK will release a mini album this coming November. The insider also shared that the group has already completed their album jacket photo shoot and will finish recording the new songs, along with all other necessary production work, within the next two months.

The insider added, “BLACKPINK has to release an album within the year. The original goal was to release it in October, but the schedule has been changed. They plan to release it in November and, if possible, perform on stage.”

On the same day, in response to reports of BLACKPINK’s comeback, their agency YG Entertainment simply stated, “We will announce it later through official promotions.”

If BLACKPINK’s November comeback is confirmed, it will mark their first new album since the release of “BORN PINK” in September 2022. BLACKPINK, who is celebrating their ninth anniversary this year, released the digital single “JUMP” on July 11, sweeping the top spots on major domestic and international music charts.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently on their highly successful “DEADLINE” world tour, consisting of 31 concerts in 16 cities. They kicked off the tour with a concert at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in South Korea. The group has successfully completed the North American leg of the tour, which included performances in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, and New York, and they will be performing in London this week.
