Coupang Play’s upcoming drama “Newtopia” has given fans their first sneak peek!
“Newtopia” tells the story of Jae Yoon (Park Jung Min), who is serving in the military, and his girlfriend Young Joo (BLACKPINK’s Jisoo), as they run toward each other across the zombie-infested city of Seoul.
The newly released stills showcase a dynamic story, starting with the happy moments of Jae Yoon and Young Joo, eventually moving into a world thrown into chaos by a zombie outbreak.
Jae Yoon faces a life-threatening situation in a high-rise tower in downtown Seoul, where his unit is located and zombies have taken over, raising expectations for the intense action to come.
Meanwhile, Young Joo, in the streets of Gangnam, faces an imminent threat, raising questions about the zombie swarm closing in on her. The combination of the towering skyscrapers, bustling city center, and distinct characters hints at a youthful, powerful synergy that grabs attention.
The chemistry between Park Jung Min and Jisoo is already raising anticipation for their portrayals of Jae Yoon and Young Joo.
