Bradley Simpson Reimagines Fan-Favorite Track ‘Almost’ With ATEEZ’s HongJoong In A Genre-Bending Collaboration

Acclaimed British singer-songwriter Bradley Simpson has released a brand-new version of this heartfelt track ‘Almost‘, this time featuring HongJoong, leader of global K-Pop superstars ATEEZ. Originally featured on Simpson’s Top 10 debut solo album, ‘The Panic Years‘, the new version blends introspective alt-rock with K-Pop sensibilities, resulting in an emotional cross-continental collaboration that feels both timely and timeless.

This collaboration came about organically. Shortly after the release of ‘The Panic Years’, HongJoong shared ‘Almost’ on his Instagram story. What followed was a fast-moving creative exchange, with HongJoong sending a Korean-language verse just two weeks later. The new version sees him contribute not only a reworked second verse but also rich backing harmonies that elevate the song’s emotional landscape.

“It was a very natural process,” said Simpson. “We didn’t overthink it. It’s always exciting to hear one of your own songs from a new perspective, especially through the lense of someone like HongJoong, whose musical world is so different from mine.”
