BTS’s Jin may become the first BTS member to embark on a personal business endeavor!
On December 11, a media outlet reported that BTS’s Jin is teaming up with culinary researcher and CEO of The Born Korea, Baek Jong Won, to venture into the liquor business.
The report states that according to industry insiders, Yesan Doga, an agricultural corporation co-founded by Jin and Baek Jong Won through equity investment, will launch the distilled spirit “IGIN” this month. “IGIN” is a traditional liquor that incorporates the unique characteristics of Yesan County, which is Baek Jong Won’s hometown. In addition to this, Jin and Baek Jong Won reportedly established the agricultural corporation Jini’s Lamp in December 2022, with its headquarters located in Yesan.
In response to the report, Jin’s agency BIGHIT MUSIC briefly stated, “We ask for your understanding that it is difficult for us to confirm this information.”
