Cignature Disbands After 4 Years

Girl group cignature announced their disbandment on Tuesday, following four years since their 2020 debut.

C9 Entertainment announced that the agency terminated its contract with all seven members on mutual grounds, with all activities ceasing on November 30.

The agency made the news public through a fan cafe posting.

"Hello. This is C9 Entertainment.

We would like to inform you about our affiliated artist cignature.

Through mutual conversations, our company and the members have confirmed that the team needs to disband.

Accordingly, we will terminate the exclusive contracts of all 7 members of cignature regardless of the remaining contract period, and group activities will also end on November 30, 2024.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the members who have done their best as members of cignature despite numerous difficulties so far.

We also apologize to the fans who have cherished cignature for delivering such sudden news, and we ask for your warm support for the members who will start a new future in various fields in the future.

cignature downsized to six members in January when one of its members, Belle, left to join UNIS, a girl group project under the survival show, Universe Ticket.

The group's final project, their fifth EP Sweetie but Saltie, was released in June.
