On March 22, BOYNEXTDOOR successfully returned to the Philippines for their first concert tour: KNOCK ON VOL. 1 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, presented by PULP Live World and KOZ Entertainment.
The group, composed of Jaehyun, Sungho, Riwoo, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak, debuted on May 30, 2023. Just months after their debut, they visited the Philippines for the 2023 Asia Artist Awards at the Philippine Arena, where they took home two accolades—the Best Choice Award and the AAA Emotive Award.
As the lights dimmed, the crowd erupted with excitement. “Manila, are you ready?” the group asked, sending ONEDOORs into a frenzy. They kicked off the night with a high-energy opening, performing Earth, Wind & Fire, and Dangerous. The boys quickly acknowledged their fans’ unwavering energy, calling the crowd “beautiful tonight” and interacting with each section of the floor.
During the introductions, Woonhak delighted fans by teaching them a trendy Korean phrase, 느낌이 좋다 (neukkimi jota), which means “I feel good.” He then excitedly asked for its Filipino equivalent, to which he playfully declared, “In Manila, I heard that I can say, ‘Edi wow!’” Although the expression is usually used sarcastically, the crowd embraced it wholeheartedly, cheering in agreement.
Dressed in glittery blazers and tattered jeans, the group kept the momentum going with electrifying performances of But I Like You, l i f e i s c o o l, and OUR, dominating the extended stage with their synchronized choreography and raw charisma.
After a short break, the members returned in coordinated white tops and jeans for a more sentimental set. They serenaded the audience with Call Me before gradually picking up the pace with 20, highlighted by Riwoo’s smooth and well-known acappella intro.

Fan Project
As the night went on, the group delivered more performances, including One and Only, SKIT, and Nice Guy. Wrapping up the show, Taesan expressed his gratitude, saying, “It was a very good decision to come back. I really, really hope to see you again soon.”
True to the spirit of Filipino concertgoers, ONEDOORs had a surprise in store for their idols. They prepared a touching fan project that included a heartfelt video filled with fan art, dance covers, and messages of appreciation, with the line, “Your art inspires us to create,” moving the members.

Clearly touched, Taesan thanked the fans, saying, “You guys came here to watch our concert. We should actually be giving you good memories. But thanks to you, ONEDOOR, you gave us so many good memories to cherish.”
Jaehyun proudly shared a personal moment, revealing that his parents were in the audience. “Today, ONEDOOR’s energy was so amazing, so I will say to my mom, ‘This is my ONEDOOR.’”
In an industry where attention spans are fleeting and new groups debut by the minute, BOYNEXTDOOR proved they know how to captivate an audience. With their vibrant performances, genuine crowd interaction, and efforts to connect with their Filipino fans, they left an indelible mark. As the fans made their way home, they carried with them the unforgettable memories of a night filled with music, laughter, and heartfelt connections—until BOYNEXTDOOR’s next visit to the Philippine stage.
