EXO's Lay Hints at Joining Full Group Comeback in the 2nd Half of 2025 After 4-Year Hiatus

In a recent Bilibili broadcast, Using music to tell stories, Lay Zhang, who is actively promoting in China as a soloist and actor, appeared as a guest of the livestream.

Here, he didn't just talk about his individual endeavors but also mentioned his career as one of the members of the top boy group EXO, reminiscing his days as a trainee and idol.

As clips from the show circulated on the SNS, such as on X, one excerpt garnered huge attention from EXO-Ls/Eris (EXO's fandom).

"In September or October, (we'll) see if we can get together with the members," teased Lay.

When the host asked further, the idol clarified that while nothing is confirmed yet, he's currently talking with the others.

"I don't know, I'm not sure right now, but we are chatting."

Given the months teased by the idol, EXO is likely to have a full group reunion once Sehun, their youngest member, comes back from his military service in September.

If Lay joins the team this time, this will be his first official comeback with EXO in four years since he virtually joined them for "Don't Fight the Feeling" in 2021 amid the pandemic.

There is also high expectations on his participation and the group's possible domestic and international activities, and if he joins, this will be his first public appearance with the team in eight years since he participated their world tour, EXO Planet 3 - The EXO'rdium, in Hong Kong in February 2017.
