Jang Haeyoung, a member of the popular boy band F-IV, has passed away.

As per reports, on October 10, the singer passed away after battling cancer. His bandmate, Kim Hyunsoo shared the news with the public through social media.

Though Jang had not been active in recent years, fans were left shocked by this sudden news of his passing.
Born in 1981, Jang Haeyoung debuted in the music industry in 1997, as a part of the duo, Kid, popular for their song, “Oh! Nanriya.” He left the duo and re-debuted in 2002 as a member of F-IV, along with Seo Jiwon, Woo Jungtae, and Kim Hyunsoo. He was the vocalist of the group.

With F-IV, Jang delivered hit songs such as “Girl,” “I’m Sorry,” and “Merry Christmas.” In 2012, the group celebrated a decade of their debut with the single, “I’m Sorry That I’m Ugly.”
The last time fans received any update about the singer was in 2016, when F-IV reunited on the JTBC variety show, Two Yoo Project Sugar Man. He had shared that he was working as a freelancer in the investment field.
Jang Haeyoung’s demise has left the K-Pop community with a significant void. His enduring stage presence as an F-IV member and creative spirit continue to be remembered with grief and fondness by fans worldwide.
