Recently, a K-Pop fan exposed an idol she was a fan of for “sliding” into her DMs.

In a post on Threads, an anonymous user shared a screenshot of a DM she alleged was from an idol she was a fan of, claiming he sent a DM after his departure from his group.

The message in the DM alleged to be from the idol thanked her for her support, saying he was always thankful when she appeared.

While the fan did not name the idol specifically, it is speculated to be a member of EASTSHINE due to her social media activity. EASTSHINE debuted in 2023, and in mid-2024, two members departed from the group.

Of the two, former member Karis has shared multiple updates with a girl assumed to be his girlfriend, and created his Instagram account after he left the group.
