Filipino Hyerongs and DAI5Ys gathered in full force, radiating excitement and anticipation to see the beloved star up close, finally. With heartfelt messages, playful banter, and powerful performances, the night was a heartwarming celebration of Hyeri’s connection with her Filipino fans.
On July 26, 2025, the New Frontier Theater was transformed into a dreamy amusement park as South Korean singer, actress, and entertainer Lee Hyeri held her first-ever solo fanmeeting in the Philippines, Welcome to Hyeri’s Studio.
THE ULTIMATE PERFORMER: POWER, POISE, AND A WHOLE LOT OF HEART
Hyeri wasted no time turning up the energy, opening the show with a fierce and commanding cover of aespa’s “Whiplash.” The crowd went wild as she dominated the stage with sleek moves, fierce expressions, and that trademark Hyeri flair—setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.
As part of the fanmeet’s first themed segment, “ADVENTURE LAND,” Hyeri delighted fans with a special performance of Girl’s Day’s iconic hit “Something.” Although she confessed to feeling nervous—it had been a while since she last danced to it—she nailed the performance like the seasoned idol she is. The cheers were deafening as nostalgia washed over longtime DAI5Ys, thrilled to see their girl group favorite back in action.
But the surprises didn’t end there. Hyeri turned up the heat with a bold and sultry performance of Janet Jackson’s “If,” blending confidence, charm, and grace in every move. The setlist wasn’t just a trip down memory lane—it was a showcase of Hyeri’s growth as an artist and performer. From K-pop classics to global hits, Hyeri proved she remains a force on stage, captivating with every beat.
ALL FUN AND GAMES IN MANILA: THE ENERGY IS REAL
Hyeri didn’t just perform—she played. Her Manila fanmeeting was structured like a themed amusement park, with different “zones” designed to let her connect with fans in a relaxed, playful atmosphere. And true to form, Hyeri gave her all.
In “ADVENTURE LAND,” she tried her hand at several games, including mini basketball, badminton, and a punch machine challenge. Her competitive streak shone through, and she had fans laughing and cheering with every success (and even the near misses). It was clear she wasn’t there just to impress—she was there to have fun.
Then came “MINI ARCADE,” where Hyeri showcased her skills with a claw machine, expertly snagging mini plushies in a single try. Her victorious grin said it all. Adding a sprinkle of charm, she wore a sunflower bandana and posed for photos with a bouquet, making sure her Hyerongs had plenty of memories to take home.
All the while, Hyeri couldn’t stop gushing about the vibrant, electric vibe of the audience. “I love the Manila energy!” she exclaimed, clearly impressed and moved by the crowd’s endless enthusiasm.
ACTRESS. HOST. ICON. THE MANY FACES OF HYERI
Beyond her idol roots, Hyeri has successfully carved out a career as a beloved actress and multimedia personality. In the fanmeet’s “CINEMA VILLAGE” segment, she reflected on the wide range of roles she’s taken on over the years—from the unforgettable Dukseon in Reply 1988 to the quirky Lee Dam in My Roommate Is a Gumiho, and more recently, the determined Jaeyi in Friendly Rivalry.
Fans got to relive these dramas through a fun trivia segment, shouting out answers and reminiscing about her most iconic scenes. When asked what her character Jaeyi might write in the last pages of her secret diary, fans quickly chanted, “Season 2!”—eager for more of the hit series. Hyeri giggled and responded, “That must be what you wrote in your diary!” before sweetly saying that Jaeyi might have written about meeting Seulgi.
She also shared an update that excited fans: she recently met up with the cast of HyeMiLeeYeChaePa, and everyone is open to filming another season. Her ongoing YouTube series, Hyell’s Club, also came up—an intimate space where she chats with fellow celebrities about life, work, and everything in between. Whether she’s acting, hosting, or dancing, Hyeri’s versatility was on full display.
MAKING WISHES COME TRUE IN THE KINGDOM OF MAGIC
For the fanmeet’s final segment, “KINGDOM OF MAGIC,” Hyeri became everyone’s personal genie, granting small wishes by selecting fans’ sticky notes and answering heartfelt questions. The fan interaction was pure gold—funny, genuine, and filled with affection.
But perhaps the most touching moment came during the encore, when Hyeri stepped off stage to walk around the theater, personally handing out lucky balls and plushies. She thanked the crowd for respecting safety measures and ensuring that everyone got to see her up close, something she deeply appreciated.
The emotional high point of the night came when fans surprised her with a fan-made video tribute. As it played, chants of “Iiyak na ‘yan!” (“She’s going to cry!”) filled the room. Hyeri tried to hold back tears, joking, “And if I don’t cry? I’m strong, you know.” But ultimately, the wave of love proved too powerful.
“I’m the happiest person right now,” she told the crowd, voice shaking with emotion. “Because I received so much love from you. I feel like I’m the most loved person in the world tonight.”
She opened up about the occasional doubts she faces, wondering if she truly deserves all this love. But her Filipino fans were quick to assure her—she absolutely does. “Every time I say that, you tell me I deserve it. And it’s because I can feel your love and sincerity,” she said. “All my gestures, expressions, and movements… they are my way of saying ‘I love you’ back.”
A NIGHT TO REMEMBER, A BOND THAT LASTS
As the lights dimmed and the fanmeet drew to a close, one thing was certain: Hyeri’s first solo visit to Manila was nothing short of magical. Fans left with hearts full and memories etched deeply. For Hyeri, it was a long-awaited dream fulfilled. And for her Filipino Hyerongs, it was the night they finally got to see their sunshine live—and love her even more.
