SM Entertainment just added four new cities to aespa’s upcoming and highly anticipated world tour… But once again, the Philippines didn’t make the list.
The group’s third world tour, AExis Line, will kick off in Seoul with a three-day concert from August 29 to 31. Earlier stops only included Japan and Bangkok, but SM confirmed additional shows in Hong Kong, Macau, and Jakarta — which will be held in early 2026 — today.

For Filipino fans, this felt like a slap in the face as it marks the third time the country has been left out of aespa’s world tour plans. Their previous tours — Hyper Line in 2023 and Parallel Line in 2024 — skipped the Philippines entirely.

It’s easy to understand the fans’ frustration: K-Pop is enormous in the Philippines, and aespa has a strong following there. The fans stream the music, buy the merch, and show up for every local pop-up or promotional campaign, but they still haven’t gotten a live show. As such, it’s not a surprise that the reactions online have been heated.
Can we please have a Manila stop now?
We’ve been patiently waiting and supporting through the past concerts, but Manila has yet to be included.
We truly wish to experience the concert and see our girls perform live. Please don’t forget your fans in the Philippines!
WE WANT AEXIS…

Some are calling out the company for favoring only select Southeast Asian countries. Others are questioning how one of the most K-Pop-hungry nations keeps getting ignored.
we need a thesis on why sm is not putting phillipines in their map for aespa tours idk there might be more stops announced later on but the way they skipped for 2 tours already is very unsettling i can’t imagine being a filo my💔

you'd think money greedy sment would add a philippines stop to aespa's tours with how big kpop is over there but no… going into their third world tour and aespa hasn't performed in ph at all so weird

i swear sm really hates the philippines. it’s not just aespa it’s most of their artists. they treat indonesia and thailand as their token sea countries while completely ignoring the rest of us. are we not real fans to y’all https://t.co/8kiDRKAhcV

Filipino fans are taking different measures to make sure their voices are heard by the company. Many are partaking in hashtag campaigns, tagging known concert promoters, and filling SM’s comment sections with demands. One fan group even launched an interest check survey to prove the numbers.
Give us AEXIS LINE IN MANILA, @SMTOWNGLOBAL ! 😭😭😭😭

So far, SM Entertainment hasn’t commented or responded to these concerns. And even though there’s no promise of a Manila stop right now, fans are not giving up. It remains to be seen whether their efforts will prove successful.
