One of the most notable modern agency versus artist disputes involved the girl group FIFTY FIFTY and their agency, ATTRAKT.

The conflict between ATTRAKT and the three current Ablum members began two years ago. After the massive success of “Cupid” under FIFTY FIFTY, the members shocked the industry by filing for an injunction to suspend their exclusive contracts with ATTRAKT. The agency pushed back, claiming “outside forces had lured the artists into violating their contracts,” and accused outsourcing company The Givers’ CEO Ahn, who produced “Cupid,” of secretly attempting to take over FIFTY FIFTY.

The members also alleged various mistreatments, including the health issues suffered by the members, being caused or encouraged by the company.

A recent video of one of the newly added members has now gained attention.

A post on X from around a day ago included a video of Hana stumbling and nearly falling on stage multiple times.

She manages to complete the performance, with her hands visibly shaking during the final pose.

The posted video sparked some concerns of mistreatment, with netizens bringing up the company’s alleged past misdeeds.

it's almost like the girls who were previously under this company spoke out about their experience for this exact reason… https://t.co/xc8cNsk9b0

similar to Aran, her poor diet of konjac jelly and black coffee, combined with constant training, left her almost exhausted yet she still forced a smile in front of the camera this is nothing short of murder https://t.co/YUpEfbca6m pic.twitter.com/6pNBU9TleD

I have thoughts about idols having heatstrokes onstage and being allowed to continue performing in states where they are very obviously not okay but people aren't gonna listen to me because this is so fucking normalized in kpop https://t.co/2oJ5p11E7e

However, the performance is actually from July 26, and Hana reportedly asked to perform, and was given an hiatus afterward.

Hello,

We sincerely thank all the fans who love FIFTY FIFTY.

One of our members currently needs sufficient rest to recover her health.
As a result, she will unfortunately be unable to attend today’s scheduled fan signing event.

We ask for your kind understanding and support, and we will do our best to ensure that she can return soon with a bright and healthy appearance.
Future schedules will be announced after monitoring her recovery progress.
Thank you.

Still, mixed feelings persisted, with some thinking that she should not have been allowed on stage in her condition.

might be a hot take but Hana SHOULDNT have been allowed to perform when she was clearly not doing well and needed rest and the hiatus afterwards was bare minimum.

the way people are showing genuine concern over a young girl who clearly was not okay and her fans are seeing it as something negative and spewing hate all around it. https://t.co/i9gHzWEGrx

it's the concerning the amount of people willing to believe lies when hana herself said she pushed herself to be on stage and is working on better managing her health and the company gave her a hiatus right afterwards for a week. https://t.co/Sm53BWXmhw https://t.co/KSTUB83pWD
