HYBE Idol Gets Blistering Reactions For “Over-Dancing” To His Own Song

A HYBE boy group member has become the target of heated criticism for supposedly overdancing on stage.

The idol in question is Dohoon of TWS, a fifth-gen boy group under Pledis Entertainment.

The discourse around Dohoon’s dancing began with a post on X (formerly Twitter), which jokingly pointed out how his dancing looked intense beside Ana, a member of SM Entertainment‘s fifth-gen girl group Hearts2Hearts. In the video, both idols were dancing to TWS’s “Countdown” as a part of their MC duties at the 2025 Ulsan Summer Festival X Show! Music Core event.

Some netizens also pointed out that even while dancing to Hearts2Hearts’ “Style” during the same on-stage segment, Dohoon appeared more animated than Ana.

Despite the original post being made in good humor, it has drawn negative remarks about Dohoon’s dancing, with some implying he was overdoing it.
