JUNHEE’s The First Day & Night proves his global impact, topping charts in 40+ countries and securing No. 1 across North America, Europe, and Asia.
JUNHEE has officially cemented his status as a global rising star with the release of his first solo mini album, The First Day & Night. Showcasing his international influence, the album debuted to remarkable success, claiming top spots on major music charts across the globe.
Upon release, the album soared to No. 1 on the U.S. iTunes Dance Daily chart, while also taking the top position in Canada and Australia. It dominated across Asia as well, landing at No. 1 on Malaysia’s Apple Music Dance Daily chart and achieving No. 2 on the iTunes K-Pop charts in France and the UK. In addition, The First Day & Night reached the Top 5 in multiple countries including Germany, Japan, and Saudi Arabia, while entering the Top 10 in more than 15 countries such as Belgium, Malta, Portugal, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.
This success follows the strong performance of the pre-release single “Supernova,” which previously claimed No. 1 in seven countries, including the U.S. and charted highly in markets such as Japan and Indonesia. The mini album’s title track, “Umbrella (10:00),” also gained notable positions across European and Asian charts, further amplifying JUNHEE’s global reach.
JUNHEE’s impact extended beyond iTunes and Apple Music as the album ranked No. 6 on Deezer’s Global Dance Daily chart, signaling growing traction in Latin America and Europe, including Mexico, Brazil, Germany, and the Netherlands. With chart entries in over 40 countries, JUNHEE has secured No. 1 rankings in 11 countries and Top 5 placements in more than 20, establishing himself as a truly international artist.
Beyond chart success, The First Day & Night reflects JUNHEE’s artistic vision. Arranged to mirror the flow of a day from morning to night, the album delivers a narrative arc that invites listeners to connect through mood and time. The lead single, “Umbrella (10:00),” is a medium-tempo pop track exploring unrequited longing, wrapped in imagery of rain, umbrellas, and fleeting connections. The album concludes with the Korean version of the same track, bringing the day’s journey full circle.
JUNHEE plans to continue promotions with “Too Bad (15:00)” following the album’s overwhelming reception and will actively engage fans through appearances on music programs and new content.
