The hit film “KPop Demon Hunters” has already produced more than one Hot 100 hit in the United States!
On July 1 local time, Billboard revealed that two songs from the soundtrack of Netflix’s new animated film “KPop Demon Hunters” had entered the Hot 100, its weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States.
The fictional boy band Saja Boys’ song “Your Idol” (sung by Andrew Choi, Neckwav, Danny Chung, U-KISS’s Kevin Woo, and samUIL Lee) debuted at No. 77, while the fictional girl group HUNTR/X’s song “Golden” (sung by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami) debuted at No. 81.
Meanwhile, Billboard announced earlier this week that the “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack had debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, making it the first soundtrack since “Wicked” to debut in the top 10 of the U.S. chart.
