Lee Jung Eun is ready to wow audiences once again with her remarkable transformation in the upcoming film “My Daughter is a Zombie”!

Based on a popular webtoon, “My Daughter is a Zombie” is a heartfelt comedy about a devoted father who embarks on a secret training to protect his daughter—now the last surviving zombie on Earth.

Lee Jung Eun plays Bam Soon, the life of the Eunbong Village, known for her spirited personality, warmth, and deep knowledge of K-pop. Though she’s initially shocked and saddened when her son Jung Hwan (Jo Jung Suk) shows up with his daughter Soo Ah (Choi Yu Ri), who has been infected with a zombie virus, she quickly regains her composure and hilariously disciplines her zombie granddaughter with a back scratcher.

According to the production team, Lee Jung Eun even performed daring wire stunts for her role. Her visual transformation into Bam Soon was so spot-on that her co-stars and the production team praised her as “the ultimate casting match,” saying she looked as if she had stepped right out of the original webtoon.

Director Pil Gam Seong shared, “I couldn’t think of anyone other than Lee Jung Eun to play Bam Soon. Lee Jung Eun is the only actress who could bring such warmth and realism to the role, while flawlessly pulling off even the wire action scenes.”

“My Daughter is a Zombie” will hit theaters across South Korea on July 30. Watch the film’s main trailer here!
