SBS’s upcoming drama “Spring of Youth” has unveiled the first look at Lee Seung Hyub’s character!
“Spring of Youth” follows Sa Gye (Ha Yoo Joon), a superstar and a member of K-pop’s most famous band, who is suddenly ousted from his group. As he enrolls in college and begins to navigate campus life for the first time, he falls for Kim Bom (Park Ji Hu) and joins a college band, reigniting his love for music.
The newly released stills capture various aspects of Seo Tae Yang’s (Lee Seung Hyub’s) personality. Dressed in a white shirt, gray sweater, and a crossbody bag, Seo Tae Yang exudes calm and composed vibes. At the same time, he showcases the charisma of a guitarist, casually layering a denim shirt over a white T-shirt and playing the guitar with a confident facial expression.
In contrast, Seo Tae Yang is also seen wearing a blue surgical gown with a cold, emotionless demeanor, and at times, he appears with a lonely facial expression amidst a crowd, sparking curiosity about his character.
Lee Seung Hyub, who is the leader of the band N.Flying and an active actor, shared his thoughts on joining “Spring of Youth.” He said, “I was drawn to the fresh and heart-fluttering story of youth that pairs perfectly with the warmth of spring, along with the element of music woven into it.”
The production team praised Lee Seung Hyub, stating, “The more we film, the more we feel that Lee Seung Hyub is a hardworking and creative actor who perfectly embodies the rare example of excelling as both a singer and an actor.” They added, “Through ‘Spring of Youth,’ viewers will get to see Lee Seung Hyub’s potential as a lead in a youthful romance. Please look forward to his performance.”
“Spring of Youth” is set to premiere on May 6 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
