Alex’s video has garnered nearly 300,000 views and over 45,000 likes.

In the video, Alex began by explaining the numerous huge names and the atmosphere of the party.

Everyone was there, and when I say everyone, I mean everyone like everyone. PSY was there, then like, people who weren’t even famous yet, ALLDAY PROJECT, joke intended. Everyone was chill, there were no cameras and people were just talking.

He then explained that during the show, he got chatting to one of the female members of ALLDAY PROJECT, although he didn’t know her name, but it seemed like she had such a positive impact and was extremely kind.

I didn’t know anyone at this party. I’m sitting down at like a kind of kids table with the grown ups, and I get to talk this really sweet girl who is like nice and inviting, turns out she was one of the members of ALLDAY PROJECT, but she was really cool.

Alex has worked with ATEEZ on the track “WORK,” and explained that he was introduced to Mingi, whom he had never met. Yet, when he was introduced, the ATEEZ star had the cutest reaction, saying, “Oh my god, you’re Alex,” and saying, “We’re gonna be best friends,” which was a relief for Alex.

Yet, sadly, Alex also experienced the other side of fame, as he shared a not-so-positive story. He explained that Mingi wanted him to meet his “hero,” someone who is a huge star, but while he knew his name, he didn’t know the music, so Alex introduced himself, saying, “Hey, I’ve heard so much about you, really great to meet you.”

Alex couldn’t share names due to defamation laws, but explained that straight away, the star said, Name your three favorite songs of mine.” Alex was honest and shared that he didn’t know the songs but was aware of who he was, and he revealed the star wasn’t happy, even saying, “Don’t talk to me,” adding that it made Mingi feel awkward.

Alex then posted a second part of the video, with a lot more “tea” on his experiences at the party.

The career boost from going to this event was beyond! Still can’t believe I was able to blend in and befriend all these folks!! The stuff that’s happened to me since I took the plunge and moved to Korea is beyond my wildest dreams. Thank you Kpop 🙏

One of the people Alex met was ALLDAY PROJECT’s Tarzzan, and like many international fans, he explained how confused and taken aback he was by the star’s persona, especially as he was wearing a grill and the way he revealed his name.

Another person who made an impact on Alex was PSY. He was introduced to the star and while at first PSY didn’t know who he was, when it was explained that Alex did a track for a cider commercial that PSY did, he was extremely positive, adding, “This guy is a genius.”

Unsurprisingly, it sparked considerable speculation.

It seems that the idol industry can be both the nicest and most positive, yet also reveal the worst sides of others.
