Lisa recently made her acting debut as Mook in The White Lotus.

In a recent interview, the director Mike White and actress Lek Patravadi chatted about the show, including Lisa’s role. Mike White didn’t have enough praise for Lisa and her attitude while acting on set.

She was amazing, she was so easy and she’s very talented. She’s a natural actress, she hasn’t done, I don’t think, any acting but she was just very natural. My concerns about casting her were more to do with just the amount of attention that comes with her because she’s such a international famous person. But, she was so easy and it was so uncomplicated. She’s just a fun and positive presence on set.

The host explained that rather than acting like a superstar, she was like a “village girl back in her hometown, you know, just chatting just like an innocent girl, right?” The director shared that it was more than that.

She can be silly and a little mischevious too, so she’s a lot of fun. She’s fun to have on set and is like laughing and she has a great spirit.

Lek also touched upon her experiences with Lisa, and while they only shot a scene together once, she had nothing but praise for their meetings outside the shooting, including going for food.

She is very polite and with a time manners, she’s really yeah very good. She really touched my heart and I’m so proud that she’s a big star but she’s still keeping the culture, the manners, you know and to respect elder people or you know, the friends around her. I’m so glad that I get to meet her and really feel good about her.
