NCT DREAM is charging full speed into the unknown — and into your hearts — with the release of their fifth full-length album, Go Back To The Future, dropping July 14.
Blending bold imagination with irresistible grooves, the group continues to build on their time-traveling concept, this time to rediscover the brightest version of themselves.
The album features nine genre-diverse tracks, led by dual title songs “BTTF (Back To The Future)” and “CHILLER”. True to the group’s playful yet ambitious energy, the record explores the concept of revisiting the past and jumping toward the future, all in search of self-growth, identity, and a little chaos along the way.
One highlight is the high-energy track “I LIKE IT,” a funky dance-pop song powered by electric guitar riffs. It captures NCT DREAM’s signature vibrant charm as they dive headfirst into an alternate reality — meeting a version of themselves through a time-warping crack in the universe. Funky, daring, and dream-charged, it’s a musical reflection of the group’s no-holds-barred spirit.
Meanwhile, “Interlude: Back to Our Paradise” offers a softer contrast, weaving dreamy synths and lush harmonies into a nostalgic soundscape. The lyrics rewind into treasured memories in search of a lost first love, setting the emotional tone for the beginning of NCT DREAM’s newly launched First Love Series. Fans can expect this interlude to open the door to a deeper storyline in albums to come.
On July 2 at midnight KST, the group unveiled their “I AM THE FUTURE” concept images across official SNS platforms. The visuals skillfully merge past, present, and future — with nods to their history and futuristic aesthetics — all tying back into the rich time-travel lore NCT DREAM continues to build.
Adding even more excitement, NCT DREAM is set to kick off their 4th solo concert tour, THE DREAM SHOW 4: DREAM THE FUTURE, from July 10–12 at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome. With a new album, a new narrative arc, and a global stage to light up, NCT DREAM proves once again that they’re not just chasing the future — they are the future.
