Plans For A Black Ocean During Upcoming ENHYPEN Performance Go Viral

Following Heeseung‘s departure from ENHYPEN, it seems fans have expanded their protest plans.

Heeseung was announced to no longer be part of ENHYPEN on March 10, and by the following day, fans had already mobilized in many forms of protest. Outside of social media, protest trucks were parked outside HYBE, while fans made their presence known at the building.

Amid this, ENHYPEN have continued their schedule, which includes an upcoming performance at the Hello, Melbourne festival on March 14. Heeseung was confirmed not to be attending, which only further served to anger and upset fans.

As a result, some fans have offered ideas for in person protests, including what has been called “7 minutes of silence.” According to the plan, after ENHYPEN performs two songs, fans would remain silent for a minute, putting down all lightsticks and holding up 7s in the crowd.

This could be seen as another form of a “black ocean,” a protest usually seen in the most extreme circumstances to get a point across.

Fans have expressed their thoughts about the proposed protest, with many vehemently against it.

don’t ruin melbourne for enha please, shout heeseung’s name, put 7 on your phone screens ANYTHING . just don’t discourage them with silence or a black ocean, this is already bad as it is.
