The JTBC K-Drama Heavenly Ever After recently premiered and has already attracted much attention.

Before its release, it was declared the drama with the largest age gap between the lead actors. Veteran actress Kim Hye Ja and actor Son Suk Ku played the lead couple.
The drama features Kim Hye Ja’s character going to heaven with her 80-year-old appearance and discovering that her husband, Son Suk Ku’s character, has chosen to have the appearance of a 30-year-old.

So far, the drama has explored the lives of those in heaven, including aspects many may not have considered. In the K-Drama’s heaven, pets and owners are reunited, and pets can take on human form if they so choose.

Unexpectedly, one of the “pets'” visuals has attracted attention!
Kim Hye Ja’s character had a pet cat that passed before she or her husband did, and was deeply mourned.

During the second episode, Kim Hye Ja’s character interacts with a mysterious woman dressed in black, who first confuses her. After the woman joins her at a table and knocks over a water bottle, she realizes it is Sonya, but in human form.

Sonya is played by actress Choi Hee Jin, who previously appeared in works like Strong Girl Nam Soon, Motel California, and the recently released Newtopia.

Her cat-like appearance only aided her latest role, and has gained her attention for her visuals. In particular, many have compared her to BLACKPINK‘s Jennie and NJZ‘s Haerin, who are both known for their cat-like appearances.

Many commented about the resemblance and praised Choi Hee Jin’s visuals.
