Rookie Girl Group Member “Triggers” Korean Men With Her Comment, Faces Massive Hate

Her fans are now defending her fiercely.

…and the video has since “triggered” netizens on Korea’s male-centric online communities, such as FM Korea, with many of them spewing hate toward the rookie idol for the comment.

In the video, taken at Hearts2Hearts’ fansign event held on October 29, 2025 (KST), Jiwoo answers the fan’s question by saying, “Men who have bad personalities, men who are ugly, and men who are petty.” Coincidentally, as she was counting the answers with her fingers, she ended up holding up her middle finger as she answered, “Men who are ugly.”
