SHINee Taemin’s Visual Change Leads To Plastic Surgery Allegations

Recently, SHINee Taemin‘s change in appearance has become a talking point.

On July 6, MusicCore in Japan took place, with many artists attending, including Taemin.

The idol took the stage and performed with no issue, however, after his appearance spread on social media it became a hot topic. Some accused the idol of getting cosmetic work done on his nose, due to an alleged difference.

Comparing his visuals during that performance and an older image, his nose does appear to now have a upward curve. Previous images show his nose with the tip pointed down, and more curved nostrils. A screen capture from the idol’s later live stream with Minho also shows a similar upturning.

On more than one video on TikTok, some lamented the alleged change as a sign that he had gotten plastic surgery, or at the least, temporary filler place into his nose. Many were critical of his appearance,

Others defended the idol in various ways, including reminding that Taemin is an adult and can do whatever he wants with his body.

Regardless of if Taemin got any cosmetic work done, it is true that he is an adult meaning there is nothing wrong if he has done so.
