Lee Si An, who is currently making headlines for her appearance in Netflix's Single's Inferno 4, is being sued by her company for breach of contract.
Leaders Entertainment, the label where the rising star works as a model, announced the lawsuit against her on January 21.
The agency told Newsis, "We will take legal action against Lee Si An for violating the exclusive contract and its agreed-upon terms, etc."

In August 2023, Lee signed an exclusive contract with them, which is set to end in October 2024.
Ahead of its expiry, the two parties discussed an extension of 1 year and six months after Si An received the casting for Single's Inferno 4 by writing a supplementary agreement.
"After sufficient discussion with her and her parents, Lee Si An signed a contract to appear on Single's Inferno 4 in May (last year) and filmed in June of the same year," added Leaders Entertainment.
"However, immediately after filming was completed in August, she announced her intention to terminate her exclusive contract. He told us through her manager that she would only be active until October 21."
As the former Produce 48 participant agreed to a supplementary agreement extending her contract for 18 more months, the label claimed that it violated the exclusive contract and that her objection was unfounded.
"We are in the process of obtaining numerous pieces of evidence and taking legal action. After appearing on Single's Inferno 4, she unilaterally notified us to halt her activities while ignoring the contract," attested the company.
"It is an act that deceives both the company and the production staff. We will ensure that similar cases do not recur."
Meanwhile, before joining the reality dating show, Lee Si An originally tried to become a K-pop idol by joining audition survival programs like Idol School in 2017 and Produce 48 in 2018.
