RIIZE recently released original variety content on their official YouTube channel. The in-house content, called The RIIZE Court, features the group members acting as judges, lawyers, and clients in a courtroom to settle “issues.”

While this isn’t the first time RIIZE has had loosely planned content like this inside of an actual setting, this specific content stood out as familiar to fans of SEVENTEEN. Specifically, fans of the group recalled episodes of Going SEVENTEEN that were released in 2023.

This content also featured SEVENTEEN in a courtroom setting.

Fans pointed out that the layout of the two variety contents was too similar to ignore, along with the content structure.

RIIZE fans defended the group, pointing out that courtroom content has been done multiple times by other groups. Some mentioned that the setting was used in dramas as well, and was probably a space available to be rented.

However, many SEVENTEEN fans expressed frustration with SM Entertainment’s alleged plagiarism, as the company has been accused of copying Going SEVENTEEN content two previous times. These other allegations have fueled beliefs that SM purposefully copied the content in this case.

SM and their staffs should give credits to Going Seventeen! SVT & GoSe staffs do not produce content for plagiariSM. An original contents, ideas, episodes produced by Team Going Seventeen. Pay some respect to creators and creatives! https://t.co/cQj4t5ZwQT pic.twitter.com/dbEPORdIJO
