On the Saturday night of 28 September 2024, STRAY KIDS fired up the National Stadium in Singapore for their highly-anticipated world tour, <dominATE SINGAPORE>.
Contributing to the vibrant sea of lightsticks and music at the concert were fans from all walks of life. From young STAYs (affectionate name for STRAY KIDS fans), to families, the excitement was palpable as soon as the concert commenced.
From ‘Thunderous’ and ‘District 9’ to ‘Back Door’ and ‘Chk Chk Boom’, STRAY KIDS wowed the audience with their electric energy and explosive passion. It was clear that STRAY KIDS were born for the stage.
A standout of the night was definitely the solo stages by the members. Every member proved to be all-rounded performers— the singers can rap and the rappers can sing. Their talents were surely not a secret to any STRAY KIDS listener.
HAN chorused to ‘Hold My Hand’ where the idol performed a rock song, accompanied by colourful and generous confetti.
Lee Know donned a striking blue hoodie as he performed to the upbeat and refreshing ‘Youth’, boasting his energetic dance moves.
Soothing our ears was Seungmin with ‘As We Are’, a sweet ballad where the main vocal serenaded the audience.
Hyunjin’s solo stage was literally ‘So Good’, captivating STAYs with his powerful stage presence.
Leader Bang Chan continued to draw the audience in with his alluring energy with ‘Railway’.
The maknae of the team, I.N, impressed with his sophisticated vocals and fluid dance moves, delivering a suave performance of ‘Hallucination’.
Felix showcased a dazzling performance mid-air with ‘Unfair’, highlighting the rapper’s calm vocal tones.
The final solo stage belonged to Changbin. With the stadium illuminating in hulk-green lights, Changbin delivered impressive body rolls to ‘Ultra’.
Throughout the show, STAYs responded with ‘thunderous’ cheers, adding on to the electrifying atmosphere.
The concert reached its peak when STRAY KIDS and the dancers sprinted to the extended stage for an explosive ‘MANIAC’ performance, igniting the entire stadium in a whirlwind of excitement.
<dominATE SINGAPORE> was a testament of the team’s seven years into their spellbinding journey— featuring world class stages and being 'S-CLASS' performers. The incredible camerawork also stood out, accentuating the well-directed stage acts and beautiful visuals.
