Stray Kids has once again cemented their global dominance, achieving remarkable success with two albums ranking in the top 10 of 2024 US CD sales.
According to the 2024 Year-End Music Report released by entertainment data platform Luminate on January 15 (local time), the group’s July mini-album ATE sold an impressive 442,000 copies, securing 2nd place in the US Top CD Album Sales category. This marks the highest rank for a K-pop artist, trailing only global icon Taylor Swift.
Their December release, SKZHOP HIPTAPE 合 (HOP), also claimed a spot in the top 5, selling 248,000 copies to land in 5th place. Stray Kids is the only artist to have achieved two chart-topping albums for three consecutive years in this category—a streak that began with their 2022 hits ODDINARY and MAXIDENT and continued with 2023’s ★★★★★ (5-STAR) and 樂-STAR.
ATE also excelled on the Top Albums (US) chart, which combines physical and digital sales, ranking 6th overall and becoming the highest-ranking K-pop album in the category. Furthermore, ATE and 合 (HOP) dominated the Billboard 200 in 2024, holding the number one spot for five and six consecutive weeks, respectively. This historic feat set a new record in the 69-year history of the chart.
This consistent dominance in the US market, coupled with their impressive CD sales, firmly establishes Stray Kids as a true global force in music.
