Korean entertainment magazine JoyNews24 recently marked its 20th anniversary with a survey involving 200 industry experts, asking them about the best K-Dramas, songs, actors, singers, and more this year.

When it came to choosing the best K-Pop songs of 2024, here are the top 5 choices that they went with:

  1. “Love Wins All”

A heart-touching ballad from IU’s album The Winning, “Love Wins All,” came fifth on the list with eight votes. The song caught the attention of many as the music video featured BTS member V alongside IU. Everything about the track, from its lyrics to its storyline, was very well-received by listeners and lauded as one of the best releases by IU this year.

  1. “Plot Twist”

TWS marked their debut with the release of “Plot Twist,” a track from their first mini-album, Sparkling Blue. The song instantly became popular among listeners, earning the group its first 100 million streams on YouTube music within just six months of its release. It also bagged the fourth place on the list with nine votes.

  1. “Happy”

DAY6’s “Happy” earned the third spot on the list with 17 votes in total. The song is a part of their mini album Forever and saw a sudden rise in popularity after NMIXX performed it on a show in August this year.

  1. “Bam Yang Gang”

Singer BIBI’s “Bam Yang Gang” received a whopping 42 votes on the list. Released in February, the song immediately caught the attention of global listeners and became a trending sound on social media.
