Yet, in the midst of his career, the actor chose to complete his military service in November 2021.

After enlisting, netizens couldn’t hide their excitement when the actor returned to social media and shared a video through his company after finishing his service. But it was during his military service that proved just how in demand he truly was.

Following his military discharg, he sat down in an interview with Esquire Korea. As always, his visuals were undeniable, and it’s not surprising that he earned the nickname “Face Genius.”

During the video, the actor revealed that he wants to start working straight away after being discharged, even if it means no rest.

A message was then shared on the screen that revealed that even while the actor was serving, he received more than one hundred project offers and received a lot of attention from production companies.

After reading the post, Kang Joon explained how flattered he felt with all the proposals and that he did receive many when he was serving. It seems like directors wanted to make sure to get him before anyone else, even if he was still serving in the military.

Seo Kang Joon then teased that there were a lot of good projects that were proposed to him and that fans might even be able to see him starring in them in the future.
