As the aespa members win hearts for their "iron taste" concept, Winter is also drawing attention for the stark difference of her image when she was a trainee versus when she debuted.
In an online community forum, a fan posted a rare trainee photo of aespa's visuals, Winter, and wrote:
"After she was (first) unveiled, she became known by her nickname, 'Snow White.' She really has fair skin and has a princess vibe like Snow White."
In the photos, the idol at the time showed up with straight brows and brunette hair without heavy makeup, which made her features pop out and porcelain skin stand out.
Contrary to her current strong facial features like AI, Winter back then had an innocent and pure charm, like a Disney princess. In the past, she revealed that her stage name almost became Snow White (Baek Seol) because of her snow-like pale complexion.
When the post gained traction on Instiz, fans were shocked to see Winter's photo, claiming that she looked exactly the same; but at the same time, she looked so different.

Her facial features when she was younger were softer and gentle, but they became more prominent through the years.
