In early May 2025, popular Heart Signal cast member Seo Min Jae (also known as Seo Eun Woo)—known to K-Pop fans for her troubled relationship with former WINNER member Nam Taehyun—announced via Instagram that she was pregnant with her boyfriend’s baby.

Later, it was confirmed that the public announcement was actually a “callout” since the alleged father had “ghosted” Seo Min Jae.
Since then, Seo made a few more posts about Jung and eventually got sued by him. On August 8, KST, Jung’s legal representative released an official statement accusing Seo Min Jae of spreading false and defamatory claims.
In the statement, Jung’s side claimed that he had never ghosted Seo and had expressed his intention to take full legal responsibility for the child. They claimed that while Jung has been cooperating with the investigation and keeping a low profile, Seo continued posting personal details, photos, and further allegations on social media, despite the police advising her to take them down.
According to Jung’s lawyers, police have forwarded the case to prosecutors with a recommendation to indict Seo on charges of violating the Information and Communications Network Act (defaming through spreading false information), threats, unlawful confinement, and violating the Stalking Punishment Act (including the breach of a court order). The court has issued a protective order for Jung, which remains in effect.
After the statement’s release, Seo Min Jae took to her Instagram account and made some cryptic posts. In one Instagram Story, she wrote that she had never spread any false rumors about Jung.

In the next one, she wrote a concerning message, apologizing to her family and meeting them again in her next life. She also added a link to an article containing Jung’s rebuttal of the accusations, calling him a “liar.”

Sung Rae Sung is supposedly the son of a wealthy, high-ranking executive at a major corporation, who disapproved of the relationship due to Seo Min Jae’s past drug usage.
