A US artist who has worked alongside BTS spoke about SM Entertainment‘s comments about the group, sparking allegations of sabotage.
Members of BTS | @bts_bighit/XOne of BTS’s most memorable moments after the debut was their show Bangtan Boys American Hustle Life.
One of the people involved was songwriter Nate Walka, who acted as a mentor on the show, along with Tony Jones and others.
Recently, Nate Walker did an interview speaking about his experiences with BTS on the show.
In the video, Nate Walka spoke about his experience with BTS and the hit show. Nate explained that listening to BTS even before the show was the reason he wanted to join.
Nate shocked fans after he implied that SM had tried to sabotage the show in some way by trying to persuade him not to do the show by trying to get him to work with EXO.
At this time, there was this writing camp for EXO going on. I believe EXO had a number one record at the time, and their camp was trying to get me to not do the show and come and work with EXO.

In particular, Nate alluded that SM didn’t believe BTS were going to amount to huge stars, as he added that there were a lot of doubters in the past.
They were saying, ‘BTS, they’re not…’ Believe it or not, there was a lot of doubters of them, saying they felt like it was an experiment and that it wasn’t going to, they were calling them a filler kind of group.
