KLAP Entertainment updates fans on Hyesung’s health, revealing his admission to a military hospital due to pre-existing mental health conditions.
VANNER’s agency, KLAP Entertainment, has provided an update regarding member Hyesung’s health and his ongoing military service. On December 9, the agency announced that Hyesung, who enlisted as an active-duty soldier on November 4, has been admitted to a military hospital for treatment due to pre-existing mental health conditions.
According to KLAP Entertainment, Hyesung was taken to the Armed Forces Daejeon Hospital just two weeks into his training. The decision was made by the training center after it was determined that his pre-existing panic and mental health disorders made it challenging for him to continue with training. Following an in-depth examination, the Military Manpower Administration directed that Hyesung focus on receiving appropriate treatment.
The agency issued an official statement to address fans’ concerns, saying:
“Hello.
This is KLAP Entertainment.
VANNER’s Hyesung entered a training center on November 4 in order to fulfill his military duty as an active-duty soldier. However, the training center determined that due to pre-existing panic and mental health disorders, it would be difficult for him to undergo training, and two weeks after he entered [the center], he was admitted to the Armed Forces Daejeon Hospital, where he received an in-depth examination.
Currently, Hyesung is undergoing treatment as directed by the Military Manpower Administration, and he will therefore be unable to attend the military training graduation ceremony that was scheduled for December 10.
We apologize for suddenly giving you cause for concern about Hyesung’s military service due to his health issues.
We will do our utmost so that Hyesung can focus on his treatment.
Thank you.”
Fans around the world are sending their love and support to Hyesung, wishing him a speedy recovery as he prioritizes his health.
