tvN’s “Resident Playbook” has unveiled a new poster and teaser!

A spin-off of the hit series “Hospital Playlist,” “Resident Playbook” will depict the realistic and relatable hospital lives, growth, and heartwarming friendships of residents at the Jongro branch of Yulje Medical Center.

The newly released poster captures a hectic moment as four residents rush through the hospital, reflecting the unpredictability of their daily routine. Papers fly everywhere, and even as a shoe slips off, they cling tightly to their phones and notebooks—offering a glimpse into the fast-paced life of a first-year resident.

The image of the four residents running down the hospital hallway is reminiscent of the “Hospital Playlist” rounds poster. Unlike the doctors in “Hospital Playlist,” who carried warm, relaxed smiles, these residents’ faces are filled with urgency and anxiety. This contrast raises the question: Will these first-year residents someday walk the hospital halls with the same confidence and composure as their mentors?

The teaser video highlights the OB-GYN department at the medical center, where first-year OB-GYN residents meet newborns on their first day of life. Newly appointed residents Oh Yi Young (Go Youn Jung), Pyo Nam Kyung (Shin Si Ah), Um Jae Il (Kang You Seok), and Kim Sa Bi (Han Ye Ji) struggle to find their footing. They hesitate to approach patients, uncertain about how to handle a laboring mother, underscoring the challenges they face both professionally and socially.
