30 K-pop Boy Group Members Who Trended Most In August 2024: ASTRO Cha Eun Woo, BTS Jin, More

Groups may collectively gain noise across the K-pop community with their music releases, social media posts, and activities. However, individual members can also take the spotlight from themselves due to their virality, updates, and solo content.

To measure the popularity of K-pop boy group members, the Korean Business Research Institute has officially released its newest brand reputation rankings. The organization managed to collect data from July 17 to August 17.

The results were determined by analyzing factors such as the participation of consumers, their coverage from the media, and overall engagement with fans.

Featuring the 30 most popular K-pop boy group members this August 2024!

1.    ASTRO Cha Eun Woo

Cha Eun Woo successfully secured No. 1 after receiving a brand reputation index of 3,668,606 for August. The idol has also been trending due to his solo activities, such as fashion events, magazine pictorials, and many more.

2.    BTS Jin

Jin made it to second place after seeing a brand reputation index of 3,199,306. The idol has also finished his military service, and the buzz on his solo schedules has earned him a spot in August's brand rankings for boy group members.

3.    RIIZE Wonbin

Wonbin followed at No. 3 after collecting a brand reputation index of 2,781,141. The idol has also gained attention due to his social media presence and activities with RIIZE.

4.    BTS Jimin

Jimin claimed No. 4 with a brand reputation index of 2,536,752. Furthermore, Jimin released his first-ever solo comeback "Who," which is still gaining traction on music charts worldwide.

5.    BTS Jungkook

Jungkook managed to complete the top five with a brand reputation index of 2,108,194.  

6.    Wanna One Kang Daniel

Kang Daniel received a brand reputation index of 1,961,008 for the month of August. This led him to claim the No. 6 spot.

All eyes are on Kang Daniel's solo activities since KONNECT Entertainment experienced a nosedive to business closure due to a dispute with a major shareholder, which also caused the departure of several artists.

7.    SEVENTEEN Mingyu

Mingyu claimed No. 7 with an index of 1,485,436.

8.    BTS V

V placed No. 8 with a brand index of 1,181,592.

9.    Wanna One Park Ji Hoon

Park Ji Hoon secured No. 9 with a brand reputation index of 1,039,481.

10.  EXO Baekhyun

Finally, Baekhyun rounded the top 10 with a brand reputation index of 1,004,918.
