3rd Generation Idol Flexes With Gift Worth Tens Of Thousands For Stylist

It was recently revealed that MAMAMOO’s Hwasa gifted her longtime stylist a car, an act of generosity that’s once again proving her reputation as one of the most sincere and giving idols in the industry.

On the July 6, 2025, episode of KBS2’s Crazy Rich Koreans, Hwasa was shown traveling from New York to Boston as part of her North American tour. During the ride, she surprised her team with an impromptu quiz show and prizes at the rest stop. After a competitive round, the dancer team emerged victorious, and Hwasa handed over her personal card with a smile, telling them to use it as much as they wanted to. The dancers reportedly spent around ₩500,000 KRW (about $367 USD) on snacks.

A dancer praised Hwasa for how genuine they are.

“I’ve never seen someone take care of their people the way Hwasa does. You can really feel how genuine she is.”

Her stylist then stunned the cast by sharing that Hwasa previously gave her a generous birthday present. Hwasa had bought a car for her.

Hwasa explained that she had been working with the stylist for a decade now, and wanted to get her something special. A car costs tens of thousands at the least.

“We’ve been working together for nearly 10 years. Her car broke down, and she hadn’t been able to replace it. I really wanted to get her something special, so I bought her a new one.”

This isn’t the first time Hwasa’s generous gestures have made waves. Back in 2020, her backup dancers shared on social media that she gifted each of them a luxury handbag, personally picking out brands that suited them individually.
