Apink member Yoon Bomi announced on Thursday that she will marry music producer Rado in May 2026 after nine years of dating.

The 33-year-old singer shared her decision through a handwritten letter posted on Apink's official fan community site, expressing gratitude to her supporters and apologizing that they learned the news through media reports first. Bomi wrote that she felt it was important to address her devoted fanbase, known as "Pandas," directly about such a significant life milestone.

In her letter, Bomi explained that after spending her teens and twenties in the public eye, she decided to build a future with someone who has supported her through both joyful and challenging moments.

"We are sharing our official statement regarding the news reported today about Yoon Bomi. She is set to marry her cherished partner, who has been by her side for a long time, in May of next year. We ask for your warm support for the couple as they embark on this new chapter of their lives," the letter read.

She promised to continue fulfilling her responsibilities as a member of Apink and as an entertainer, vowing to repay fans with better performances moving forward. The singer also expressed deep appreciation for her fanbase's 15-year journey with her, acknowledging that they played a crucial role in making her who she is today.

Bomi and Rado, whose real name is Song Joo Young, first met in 2016 while collaborating on Apink's third studio album, "Pink Revolution," where he worked as a composer and she performed as a vocalist. Their professional relationship gradually developed into romance, which they publicly confirmed in April 2024.

Rado, 41, is best known for his work with the production duo Black Eyed Pilseung, which disbanded in September 2025 after 16 years. He currently serves as the chief producer and representative of High Up Entertainment, a company he helped establish.

Throughout his career, Rado has created multiple hit songs for prominent K-pop groups, including Apink's "Only One," TWICE's "Cheer Up," STAYC's releases, and tracks for artists like Chungha and Sistar, as per BizzBuzz.
